Does this video show what the iPhone 11 will look like?

Until fairly recently, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 11 range promised to be one of the most boring ever. Over the past couple of weeks, however, a number of new reports from reliable sources have portrayed a much more exciting picture of the new iPhones.

According to bgr.com, the general design of the new range will be the same, but major upgrades are coming. The top Apple insider on the planet recently reported that both the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max will come with triple-lens rear cameras, while the “budget” R version will feature an improved double-lens camera. Apple also has major plans for iOS 13.

This means that 2019 now promises to be a very interesting year for iPhone fans. Those who choose not to buy a new phone will still enjoy major software updates, and those who do buy a new iPhone will get a revamped design, lots of power, and a dramatically improved camera.

In case you can’t wait to see the new iPhone, a new video has emerged on the web that reportedly shows both the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max side by side. What happened is that 3D-printed dummy versions of the new iPhones have emerged on Alibaba. Mac Otakara, a renowned Japanese Apple news blog, bought a pair and yesterday uploaded a video that shows exactly what they look like.

From the video, it appears that the iPhone 11 will strongly resemble the iPhone X. However, leaks have revealed that under the skin, this will be a very different beast with, among others, a great camera, frosted glass on the back, and a new finish.

While these are only models and not real iPhones, there’s a good reason to believe that they give us a fairly reliable idea of what to expect from the new iPhone range.
