		<description>A great tip, thanks.  Worked like a charm to rename older photos taken with a phone when I wanted to add new ones that had the same names.  No way to define the naming on the phone.</description>

I figured out a little shareware tool called Renamerox.
Renamerox has many functions and features and works very fast.
It also has an undo function which is very helpful.
It offers presets for different sets.
